over the past few day i have learned that google has become THE INTERNET whether you want it to or not... im a student and if there was a pool for the most common phrase it would be "just google it". This article
has information that 90% of gift shopping was done on 4 search engines. 4!!! out of 342,000,000 (i googled it) also the google mail, google stock, google news, will the internet eventually be controled by google?

"The Internet..."

In reply to: Is google taking over the internet?

"The Internet", no, "an Internet", yes.

I have found a new love for Google. I used to be scared, but I'm born again. "Don?t be Evil" to Google.

Google has some bigger things that that. Google VPN, Google Wi-Fi and such like.

Remember, Google is just a bunch of Geeks who are very dedicated to tech, they don't mean to be scary, they just don't understand how their advancements effect us mere consumers.

They got cash.

In reply to: correction

Going public gave Google lots (more) cash and they are spending a good bit of it buying. I guess it's like winning the lottery, in a relatively short period; you buy a lifetime of goods. Google has just won the lottery.
