It does get confusing with the system bus and FSB at two different speeds. Also, Dell's BIOS must support your new CPU. For that you either have to try or ask them. I do not keep current on that info.
I have a dell E520 and have been looking for a new processor for a while now, i currently have a pentium D, i know my dell isnt compatible with anything above a 1066mhz fsb or a quad core, but will the new 45nm E7200, can anyone help?
