Is CMS needed?

Jun 17, 2009 4:34AM PDT

I am creating a website for a church which has already been activated, due to the random and unprofessional timeline with this website, it is unfinished:

http://st-luke-umc.org/

I am wanting to basically take 2 of the 3 main content sections on the home page of the website ("What's Happening" and "This Week's Message") and make their text editable and updatable at any time by the client.

They will just need to change the topic's title and the following paragraph of text in each section in order to update them.

Do not worry about the Flash audio player, as ive already got that one set up to be updated by the client dropping an updated clip in a directory. Simple.

I am not aware of how to code or use CMS if it is needed. Any and all recommendations on this tiny need for client editing will be well appreciated! Happy

If they can drop a clip in a directory

why don't you use an include file for just the text. They can open the text file in notepad, edit it, drop it in a directory.
