Is anyone else worried about how much Facebook is tracking?

We recently ran a poll on our own site about this, but thought we'd post here to ask some experts... The facebook app is tracking most everything on your device, messages, emails you name it, are many people aware of this? Our poll said that 91% of people were very concerned. ( [****]) but does that reflect facebook usage? Is anyone uninstalling the app?

Not me

I just use it with a psuedo-nym and that has no friends, no messages, no connections, just used to view other facebooks at times, usually associated with some news story of interest at the time. If I want to share something personal with those I know, it's by email, or by phone, or secret link just for them to an unpublished backpage at one of my domains.
