I've been trying to get it registered since February, but to no avail. I've followed all the guides - cleared the cache, scanned the system, all sorts - and I've submitted support requests, but nobody's been able to help effectively. I've been offered a refund, but the whole point of the exercise was to get the functionality of the software. Apparently it uses cookies to register TechTracker rather than a sensible approach like keyfiles or registry keys... nobody seems able to tell me why.
I've also been told that there's no way to work around it, like manually editing the registry, installing a keyfile, adding a cookie manually or whatever. But there was an update (coming "next week" last month) that would definitely fix it.
That update arrived today. I clicked the link, but it refused to download - "This feature is only available in TechTracker Plus."
Has anyone else had similar problems and suffered Cnet's abysmal support? Has anyone found a workaround?
