I just got this Dell notebook Inspiron 2 GB, Intel 2 duo cpu.1.5 GHz on Friday, running Vista home premium.
I've already had 2 blue screen reboots and now I'm getting gun shy.Event log didn't tell me much.
Could you share your experience with ccleaner...
Thank You, Ann

as you running Vista Home Premium on a new HP machine. I do have CCleaner loaded on a different version of Vista but am a bit gun shy like you... so I have never cleaned the new operating system. Vista so far is working well.

Like you I would like to know the experience of others.

Glenn

Tried it
by A.L. / December 3, 2007 2:44 AM PST

Thanks Roddy,I did as you suggested, could not find much info so throwing caution to the wind, I downloaded, installed and ran it.It seemed to work well, I was a bit disconcerted to see it removed 350 MB, I've only had this computer for 3 days....
I'll report back if any glitches show up...Ann

good so you will probably be OK. I run it on this XP machine every 2 days and have occasionally had that much. It usually depends on what I have deleted into the Recycle Bin. That will add a lot if you had deleted some things that came on the machine that you didn't want. I also find it removes a lot if I have viewed any news videos online, they also add up quick.
