You don't have to move anything on your laptop.
If you plug in the video recorder or device you're using and then save them straight to the external drive then you're good go to.
I want to copy basketball games (I'm a coach) through my DVDXpressDX2 to a hard drive to keep for cutups later on. I don't want to keep them on my laptop b/c of a lack of storage space. I'm thinking I can get a 250gb external and save all my games there. My question is though can I save it straight to my external without putting in my laptop memory first. After reading some external reviews it seems as though everyone only uses these for backups. Will it be easy to use this program on my laptop but make all my save to the external drive?
