Is a one-line toolbar possible in IE8?

by babbvt / March 26, 2010 5:52 PM PDT

Have XP3 and a recently downloaded copy of IE8. I have not been able to reduce the two/three toolbar to a one-liner, which was possible in IE6. Any suggestions would be most welcome

Some modifications are possible, as noted in the forum sticky (Read Me), but Microsoft has limited the customization options for security reasons, largely to create a standardized layout that third-party programs/add-ons cannot modify.

Sorry.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
