I got an e-mail in my spam folder the other day that mentioned something along the same line.
I just hit the delete button.

Agree with the others, power cord that came with your unit is fine.
But since you brought this subject up,,,, well there are thoes that will tell you that this or that super de pooper power cord will make your Reciver, Amp, etc sound a zillion times better.
There is one company that sells a $2500 power cord,,,yeah right. The AVS forum had string of postings that ran for over 90 pages on this one. Some of the responces were quite funny. I did add one comment to this subject.
"remember that you are plugging your $2500 power cord into a $.90 duplex socket that was wired with 14ga wire by the lowest bidder for the job."
P.T.Barunm was correct.
Just a FYI on power cords a 18ga line cord is rated at 7 amps continus or 840w.
16 ga linc cord is rated at 10 amp continus or 1200w.
14 ga line cord at 14 amps of 1780w.
DON'T worry about the power cord!!!!!! John
.....If you can find that a bigger or longer power cord makes your listening or watching experience more fulfilling then I've got a beautiful 5 acre lot on Galloway Bay I'd like to sell you!
