Is a big deal get a A64?

hi friends..
i need to buy a notebook, not for games.. for work!


**** I'm need a notebook wich i'll use it many years.. ****

I'm in doubt in get a centrino or a A64!

the centrino is: 2.0 ghz
the A64 is 2700+ (2.4 ghz)

I'm thinking to get the A64 for the 64 bits support!
what u think?

But in my small world, the video encoding gets a boost from 64-bit apps and we do some software development. Imagine if we didn't equip our staff with 64-bit as we update machines. That would not be wise.
