I am looking for a nice MP3 player to use with Yahoo to go service. I have been reading the reviews and see that both of these seem to be pretty good. Has anyone had first hand experiance with these players? What should I buy? I do not think the FM tuner makes much differance..

It's a toss up. I think the Sandisk might be chaeaper. Both are good players. Get the best deal you can and shop for price.
If you have use both. Did you think either one had a better quality? I read that the I River had a few drop outs when used with a subscription service.. Did you notice this? Thanks for the help:

I have had no problems with the Sandisk and subscripitons services. All tracks I downloaded has played with no problems. Don't know about the iRiver but I assume it works fine ... it's gone through so many firmware updates that it's a mature product by now.
How is the backlight????Can someone who has one of these tell me of the backlight on theirs is
a bit uneven? Light seems to be at Sansa logo end instead of SanDisk
end and is brighter where the light is physically located. I dont
expect laptop quality backlighting but I have a watch with Indigo
backlighting and it is not ueven.
