Iriver IHP120 battery replacement ipod2

hello, I like to upgrade my Iriver IHP120 with a new battery. I heard its possible with a 2200mAh Battery for Apple iPod 2G 1G 1st 2nd Gen. (easier to get in New Zealand)
Can I use this battery as it is or do I have to change something? Are there any howtos?
