iRiver h10 20 GB vs. Zen Touch 20GB

Jul 7, 2005 9:29AM PDT

I've been looking at both the iRiver h10 20gb and the Zen Touch 20gb. Both seem like nice players, the iRiver has FM and a nice color screen but is a little over my budget. The Zen Touch has a nicer price tag and longer battery life but lacks the features of the iRiver. Which one is better?

i like my zen touch

it doesn't have a fancy screen or a radio. if you want a radio, buy one Happy i wanted a portable mp3 player, so i got the zen touch.

it's not the nicest interface. it's modeled after the ipod interface, which i don't really care for. but after a bit of practice, i can load my music pretty quickly. and the sound is very nice. sounds way better than the Sony HD5, though it is a bit larger.

can't speak for the iriver.

Maybe Micro too

My music collection doesn't need a large mp3 player, so I have been looking into the Zen Micro too, any advice on the Zen Micro or the iRiver h10 ( 5 GB model ) would be great. Thanks.

Zen Micro is a great small mp3 player

Well I just bought the Zen Micro today, so far it does sound better than the Ipod Mini. I recommend it. Transferring music is quite impressive also. The best feature for this player is the removable battery. If you like a small player I recommend the Zen Micro. The Iriver h10 is quite bigger than the Zen Micro. Iriver is another great product, the sounds is also good too, but it's quite big. Great feature for the Iriver is the color screen to view pictures. Other than that both have the same features. Again I have seen only the Zen Micro with the removable battery for this size of a player. So bottom line if you like to put pictures the Iriver is good for you but if you like just for the music the Zen micro is a better choice.
