Iriver frustration mounting

Hi guys,
Recently bought an Iriver s100 and everytime i upload music it is inaccessible through any other menu other than browse device. Other menus such as songs, artists, play all etc wont recognize it and state "please regeneration D B". With the browse device option songs are everywhere and have no order or organization. The solutions offered so far were to download iriver plus4 and upload through that which is what im working with anyway, any fresh spin on a possible solution would be really appreciated!!!
