PMO LOGISTICS FACILITATES ARRIVAL OF NEW IRAQI POLICE VEHICLES

More Than 1,100 Additional Vehicles on Their Way

Baghdad, Iraq ? May 27, 2004 ? The Program Management Office organized the delivery of the first 39 of 1150 new Iraqi police vehicles donated by the government of Japan. The new vehicles, shipped by convoy from Jordan, were delivered to the Iraqi Ministry of Interior for final fittings and distribution to police stations across the country. All of the vehicles are expected to be in Iraq by August of this year.

After their initial arrival in Jordan by ship, the PMO Logistics office oversaw movement, security, customs processing and liaised with the Ministry of Interior on receipt of the police vehicles upon their arrival. PMO staff accompanied the vehicles which were transported by trucks driven by Iraqis from the Jordanian border to Baghdad.

?The success of this operation is further proof that the reconstruction effort continues and is, in fact, making a valuable contribution to the stability of the country by providing Iraqis with jobs and giving the police the equipment they need to accomplish their mission to protect the people of Iraq,? PMO Director David J. Nash said Thursday after hearing of the delivery. ?This is just the beginning. Thousands of additional items are on their way, which will augment the reconstruction effort and enable the people of Iraq to maintain their modern infrastructure.?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
