Iraqi Forces coming on line

Jul 25, 2004 4:12AM PDT

....a few more like this, and Americans can look forward to coming home:

Tikrit, Iraq - Iraqi National Guard soldiers from the 204th ING Battalion and Iraqi National Police officers killed 13 Anti-Iraqi insurgents when the AIF attacked the Iraqi Security Forces outside of Burhitz on July 25 at about 11:00 a.m.

The ING and INP were providing security for 1st Infantry Division Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, as they conducted a raid in farmland south of Buhritz. The ISF pursued the AIF into the town while being attacked by sporadic small arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades.
