Iran arrest 14 (fourteen) squirrels on spying charges...

I got a big laugh out of this. I'm a little surprised I'd be saying this, but I'm glad I haven't heard that the U.S. government doesn't spend money on efforts this silly...

I guess Iran is really pushing the paranoia envelope by arresting squirrels they think have eavesdropping devices on them. On one hand - it'd be a clever if that actually worked, but what the heck would they actually be able to hear out on the borders!?

I have to wonder how the were detected. I'm not sure if or what kind of squirrels might be native to the area that might have made these stand out as not belonging. Maybe they were in camo so maybe we should be on the lookout for ghutra wearing squirrels in our neighborhoods. Happy
