Be sure to research that and consider removal (ruins the color.)
Don't buy the IR lamps...
i want to find instructions on how to build an IR spot light.so i can flood a room with IR lights when needed.
Color cameras have an IR blocker or filter. You would have to flood the room with 100 times more IR than you would need normally.
-> HINT!!! Use a B/W camera.
But it won't work out. Since you can't take the hint that these won't give you any light then can you explain to me why you would make them?
-> Plans: Buy a pile of IR LEDs. String them anode to cathode for as many as you want and put 50 milliamps into the chain. Done.

Watch the attitude....The hint was not implied and you have no idea what your talking about when you say an ir spot light will not work. ir spots work on color or bw...when in total darkness the ir does not produce color. I know that fact. I've been working with ir cameras for a while now. i just want somthing to illuminate the room with ir light to increase the cameras field of vision(as in clearer). vertical and lateral and distance by at least 10 feet.
and if you don't have plans i can dowload don't cop an attitude. I'm looking for plans not some half hearted instructions thats what i'm looking for.
CCTV designs in production. I've BTDT so I will show tude.
Good luck.

This forum has NO GRAPHICS so I have no choice but to give you the simplest explanation of an IR illuminator that you can use to build your own. Need a schematic? How could I give such in this forum?
