My spiffy new Netgear was doing that and a little research found reports of issues. So I used what others did to fix it.
But I can't find the make/model of your router in this discussion.

Hello!
So, I live in a house with a lot of internet and wireless activity going on. I've been here the last three months or so. Suddenly, my laptop and only my laptop stops connecting to the wireless.
I've run several diagnostics, several reboots of both my laptop and the router, installing WinSock and resetting the DNS.
At the moment, it's not possible to get a new router. Any other suggestions of what to do?
Additional information:
Laptop is a Dell XPS L511Z
Windows 7 Home Premium
<span id="INSERTION_MARKER">IPv4 Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I wonder if there is a way to transfer the router not recognizing this laptop to another one. ie. if one laptop is not in use, is there a way for that laptop to not connect instead of mine.
Thank you in advance!
~Michelle
