My chick friend had that problem and she took her ipod U2 version in and they took it back and gave her an ipod video. I know that doesn't tell you what's wrong but I think if they just took it back and replaced it with the newer model it must be something bad.

Yea she had it still under warrenty and she didn't pay a cent. They gave it to her cause they stopped making her version of the ipod and they couldn't fix the product. How great is that?

I'm not sure if this is an option

Well they can probably fix it for you for a price. I'm not sure if you can do this, but first I'd see how much it costed me. If it cost me over 60 dollars to fix it I'd buy the warranty apple provides. And then take it into the apple store and have it "fixed" (hopefully replaced by the 5g). But I don't know if apple lets you buy a warranty after your original one is up.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
