IPod with IE &

Oct 16, 2006 11:29PM PDT

I have a concern about the new issue from Apple for the IPod and IE 7. My partner cannot bring up any of his play list, and nothing seems to be real.

I downloaded it from CNet, so I assumed it was OK.

He cannot bring up his library on his IPod, nor any of the functions of the old IPod face plate. He is just really confused and I can't help, because I know nothing about IPod. I just downloaded it because I had updated to IE 7 and the new IPod program was developed for use with IE 7.

Anyone else know of any issues with this?

Thanks in advance ...
Patrick

IE 7 is still not released.

I never suggest beta software for those that want their machines to work.

As to that program working with IE 7, since Microsoft has re-released many betas you need to contact it's author to see if they are keeping up with the releases.

Frankly I'd go back to what is released and non-beta.

It Says IE 7

I received a message from MS that IE 7 was available. I do not recall any mention of BETA, because I do not use BETA products.

Now, how to get back to the previous IE. Can you suggest how to do it. I have been to the MS Update and unless I am looking in the wrong place, all I am finding is IE 7, which has been updated since I downloaded it.

Here is my system info:

Still bleeding edge.

The posts in the forums about IE7 continue to have me hold back on my work machine. Besides it's not needed for any reason since IE6 still functions and Microsoft doesn't seem to want to close down the exploitable holes.

Let's skip that and go right to what I would do. Talk to the author of what doesn't work.
