iPod Touch Stuck in Recovery Mode

by bcdfbdqwjierhcbew / October 14, 2009 8:27 AM PDT

Brand new iPod Touch stuck in recovery mode and will not sync with most recent iTunes. It asked me to update software and after I did so, it would not recognize iTunes and says it is in recovery mode and times out with error message, "iPod could not be restored. Unknown error occurred (1604)." Any insight, advice, or help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Google that message as well as "How to reset an iPod."

In order to recover lost audio or video files from your ipod you can try Remo iPod Recovery Mac software which is entirely meant to recover lost files from your iPods safely without overwriting the old contents.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
