and I'm impatient sometimes, I'm going to be a good Apple fan and upgrade to 1.1.2, though I have iJailbreak ready for the next update ;-). I could make use of the iCal editing as a note taker since I don't use iCal much anyway for calendars. It's too time-consuming to program iCal when I'm always out and about, so this feature will be welcomed to my Touch. Still, any opinions are appreciated.
I know I must be like a broken record, but I think I need to go over the details about all the hacking.
Ability to run all the iPhone apps and 3rd Party apps,
Makes the UI look cooler,
All the goodies basically.
As of right now, the 1.1.2 upgrade can be broken, but it's still sketchy on how to do it right so I've heard.
iCal puts the editing feature in with 1.1.2 (not too important here)
Possibly voids warranty?
Approved SDK comes out in Feb, and though it's a long wait, whatever is released won't void anything or screw it up because of the user (unless you intentionally do it).
What am I missing? Is it recommended in the long run? Does it really void my warranty, which since I value its worth? I know how to do the restoring and stuff to return it to normal. Any thoughts?
I just don't know if I should release its potential now or wait for a refined version in the future.
