iPod touch problem

there have been a lot of people in the apple forums talking about how videos on the ipod touch are ugly. this is due to a screen issue that distorts dark colors. it is now being referred to as a defect. anyone having this problem with the touch, post thoughts here. im hoping to use this thread as leverage to get my local apple store to believe that there is a screen issue.

cnet is the only site that ive read a review from that doesnt mention this...if you want you can show them the image on the ilounge ipd touch review, it displays the problem really well..this is the only factor thats keeping me from getting it

yea, everyone notices the problem except apple. they are in denial!!!! im going to a store and tomorrow and show them the pure evidence

and I'm gonna make sure it works before I buy it. They probably know it happens. Apple just doesn't like taking that kind of talk from consumers.

The Touch is great, they just have to fix up a few things. I'm getting 10% off mine cause I reserved one and they sold it on accident, so why not? $40.00 less = Happy me. They wouldn't sell out so fast if people didn't like them. The CNET video shows no problems, if you see the few videos it plays. Perhaps it's just a large percentage of the products that get the defect, and you have to be lucky to not get it.

Well, I'm gonna be a lucky one.

i got mine last friday. hopefully their newer shipments will be fixed. if not, i will return it and wait a few more weeks or months. i got a 16GB for $200. I used 2 iphone credits toward the purchase. it' so weird. a dude at the apple store said that people are not supposed to get discounts on ipods. i've been buying ipods with military discount for over 2 years. probably cnet got a good model. some people are getting great ones. i should get one from best buy or something.
