Question

ipod touch and windows 7 64bit problem?

Oct 7, 2011 2:11AM PDT

Got ipod touch 4th gen about 8mo ago. Worked great until about 1mo ago when itunes forced it to update the software. hasn't worked since. we have spent hours with apple on the phone, and we even wiped and reconfigued my harddrive. they have sent me 4 replacements- all of which have the same issue. is anyone else having this problem?

Uninstall the version of iTunes that you currently have on your Winbox. (I'm guessing it's the 64bit version)

ipod touch and 64bit problem

Interesting idea (our CS-3 32 bit runs on our 64) but when I went to download the 32 bit version it would pop up a box that said "this is a 64 bit computer- you need to download the 64bit version". Tried on apple website and 3rd party prover with same results.

(NT) Any way around that?

Zune questions
Oct 11, 2011 5:05AM PDT

So in looking for an alternative I have to look at the Zune. a couple questions- does it use windows media player (ugh) or does it have different software? can I get podcasts on it? does it do apps? Are they going to update it to the new OS? Really what I ma looking for is something that plays MP3, I can download podcasts, and I can run 1-2 apps for work. (and that is NOT an Apple)

MS will no longer be doing anything with it, including selling it.
