iPod Touch and Headphones

Nov 19, 2008 10:34AM PST

In a few weeks I'll be getting the new iPod touch, (either 16gb or 32gb) but I hate the crappy apple earbuds. I want to get some good earbuds for under $100, (like the Shure SE110) but there's a problem. Since the iPod touch has no physical buttons, I cannot play/pause blindly in my pocket unless I use the apple headphones. My question is, is it that much of a hassle to take the ipod out of my pocket every time you want to pause? I've also heard about the new Apple In-Ear headphones, but I don't know when they'll come out. Anyone know?

You just touch the bottom button twice then the controls show up on the screen, and then you can pause it.
