iPod Touch 1st Generation and External Microphone

by jerzypapa1 / February 25, 2010 2:17 PM PST

Does anyone know a way to get an external dock connected microphone (I have the Blue Mikey) to work with the iPod Touch 1st gen?

It works well with my iPod Nano.

The issue seems to be that the iTunes store will not allow you to install sound applications on the 1st Gen Touch, because it has no microphone.

When the Mikey is plugged in, it does! And obviously the Touch is a much more powerful and flexible tool for recording.

And so i am wondering if there is a something I am missing.

iPod Touch G1 with the latest OS.

The most beautiful phone ever has one wildly annoying issue

The Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience.
