IPOD TO PC TRANSFER

Jun 26, 2010 11:24AM PDT

Does anyone knows about a software to transfer IPOD to PC? I prefer something cheap or free if available? I pretty much lost all my songs, but I have them in my Ipod. I'm afraid if I plug in my Ipod, I'm going to lose all my songs? Can someone please help me?

how did you lose all those songs?

If this is virus or malware damage then you would need to fix that first before attaching any media device.

A few steps from memory . . .

Open Explorer on the PC and create a folder called iTunes in the My Documents/My Music folder.

Install iTunes.

Set it to NOT sync the iPod.

Connect the iPod and open iTunes.

Set the iPod to run as (again, from memory), as a stand alone drive.

Open Explorer and find the iPod, and copy the music to the created My Documents/My Music/iTunes folder.

Close Explorer.

Unplug the iPod.

Close iTunes.

Open iTunes.

Your music should be there.
