ipod to pc copy utilities

Would like a recommendation on best utilities to back up ipod or itunes to PC

You don't need to backup the iPod,

you just need to backup iTunes, which has all the tracks that the iPod does, and you could do that to DVD(s) or to an external hard drive.

Windows Backup utility should work for you.

Just configure it to backup your My Documents\My Music and you should be good to go. Make sure that you consolidate the library and you will not have a problem with missing tracks
