Am using a Toshiba lL305D 3.00gb Sempron SI-42 GHz-processor
System type- 32-bit Os.

Things I've done
-I've restarted my ipod.
-reinstalled Itunes
-I have the latest ITunes
-Uninstalled Apple Mobile Device USB Driver
-Updated my latest Driver/software updates

My ipod still shows in 'My Computer' but doesnt in Itunes.

But for malware I like Grif's advice at http://forums.cnet.com/7726-6132_102-5098912.html?tag=posts;msg5099421

Sorry, but as you see there's a lot to look for and do.

But about that Toshiba. While it's great to read the device shows in windows, your post about a 32-bit OS concerns me. Why wouldn't you tell which Windows? For example it could be that old Windows 2.1 rare 32 bit version. I mean why not just reveal that you loaded XP onto that machine and you will never install SP3?

But there I go again, guessing badly.

About my old ipod.
Feb 23, 2012 1:31PM PST

I have that really old HP 20GB IPOD and it will take hours to verify on my really old XP laptop. Why? The old laptop has USB 1.1 ports. Works but hours long so I bring this up just to share that details matter. And I didn't find them here.

Tell more.

Repetative Problems
Mar 13, 2012 12:59AM PDT

I've done the same things to correct this problem but its coming back over and over...I've restored way too many times to count on account upon plugging in my ipod into my Toshiba it'll sync endlessly slowing down my computer to the point I cant get into iTunes to play any music etc...and the strange thing is when i disconnect the Ipod itself will turn off and looks like it'll restore itself (it'll show the Apple Icon) Do u think i should call Apple or Toshiba or both?It feels like it could be my Toshiba laptop what do u think
