Without some form of hack, you will not be able to run XP HE on the iPod. The iPod is a little more than "just a HDD", as are most HDD based players.

But, if you do manage to do it, it is almost certain that all your tracks, track information and iPod OS will go bye bye

Two Questions

I have two bugging questions regarding the Apple iPod,

1) Is the 5.5 generation (80GB) iPod compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista? (drivers ect)

2) When if soon will the 5.5 generation iPod be replaced by a new version, I am thinking of purchasing my 2nd MP3/4 and it would be a shame to purchase version 5.5 so soon before a new model.

Cheers, J.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
