Ipod Nano with itunes?

I am thinking about buying a Ipod Nano but before I buy one Ineed to know if I have to use itunes with it. i have tried itunes before and I personally like Windows Media Player better and can you drag and drop files? I know some of you don't suggest buying this player but all i want is some answers not a persuasive essay on why I shouldn't buy this player. Please and Thank You
