iPod Malfunction Help

Nov 3, 2008 1:14AM PST

Around a week ago my iPod suddenly stopped working. The wheel turns and it works fine but when I press it, the ipod doesn't respond. Such as me scrolling to the "music" part of the main menu and pressing the center button to confirm my choice, it wouldn't work. The button commands don't respond in other words. Is there a way to fix this? I only bought my iPod around 3 months ago and now it's not working. It's the black class iPod with the 30gb of memory. Thanks

I would rather have apple take care and replace it. I wouldn't want to mess my iPod up even more. I believe Apple's warranty still covers it considering it's only been 3 months and it was a self malfunction. (I hope I find my receipt for the iPod purchase thought...)
