Ipod help, please.....

Feb 26, 2006 7:22AM PST

I hope someone can help me with these two problems:

How can I burn the music I've purchased/downloaded to my Ipod mini to a CD?
This is frustrating as I've had to reload my Ipod a couple of times now and lost everything I bought.

Is there anyway to recover music that was purchased from ITunes, which has been deleted or lost from my library?

Burning in iTunes
Feb 26, 2006 8:17AM PST

If you're using iTunes to manage your iPod playlist, it's easy. Just create a new playlist with the tracks you want to burn to CD. Then right-click the playlist and select ''Burn playlist to disc''.

I'm using Windows, I'm not sure if it is any different in the Mac version of iTunes.

Also I believe if you've purchased tracks from iTunes, you are able to re-download them at no cost. I am not sure about that though, I'd need someone to confrim...

Hope this helps!

Can't re-download

I am pretty sure that you cannot redownload music from iTunes. If the music is still on the iPod there is software which can pull music from the iPod and place it back on your hard drive. But if the music was on the PC only then you are out of luck. Apple has been known to make exceptions on redownloading, so I would write to them and ask nicely.

Use linux

Attach ur iPOD to a Linux box. (I used Suse 10). I will open your iPOD as a USB drive and copy music out of it onto ur harddisk. And do anything you want.
