I've tried several FM transmitters, including some mentioned favorably by cnet. Depending on where you live, you may not find a single decent unused FM station for the transmitter. Even if you do, this may change as you travel and interference will creep in. But even without interference the sound quality is awful! You lose all traces of digital hi-fi contained in the original source on the iPod. Very dissapointing. Unless there is a way to channel input directly to the speakers (not through the FM radio) I wouldn't bother.
I started shopping for a FM transmitter for my iPod mini that I can use in my car on my way to work each day. I heard that some have weak signals and don't sound right on any station it is put on. Can anyone suggest which one is the best that I should get? Thanks~!~
