iPod Classic That Buggy?

Oct 14, 2007 10:48AM PDT

Hello,
I have been waiting for the "Next iPod" for a quite a bit now. And I thought this year's new iPod Classic was the one. This had all the upgraded features: better battery life, less-scratch prone body (somewhat anyways) and more memory for the buck. Then, as I keep reading more and more reviews, I discover more people are complaining about how slow its interface is, the random freezes and so on.
So before I decide to buy the iPod, "Is the iPod Classic REALLY that buggy?"
Or are most of the comments a big exaggerated?

Finally, Thank you in advance for the help.

Or they wanted it to run CoverFlow without pause.

I bet even the best desktop in the world would pause if you filled up that 160GB model...

Hmmm...

That's definetly true, but the interface in general though.
Example: Only a couple of GB of media.

Thanks for the input anyway.

Is that the bug?

If you research "how it works" you find the hard disk spins down and the delay is due to that time it takes to spin up.

If you ever figure a way to get around that for the same money...
