The little computer in the devices is often limited to what size is supported. Also, there are no 256GB cards to test with and update the drivers.
2. Not yet. And as we move to more cloudy solutions (I own a GoGear Connect) I can see where this is going. There will be little need for more than a few GB of storage. You might encounter folk that can't figure that out.

I've been studying alternative MP3 players and have two questions:
1) Does anyone know why Sandisk and others limit the size of the MicroSD/MicroSDHC expansion card to 32GB? If I could pop a 256GB card into a cheaper MP3 player, that would be great!
2) Are there any MP3 players that integrate the expansion card well with internal memory? From what I've read of the Sansa Fuse+, for instance, the card must be accessed separately in their menu and songs on the card cannot be organized into folders (Please correct me if I am wrong on this)
Thank you.
