can some one tell me what format must the music be in to play on the ipod will not play movei clip

Music format for the iPod is AAC(M4A, M4B, M4P, Apple Lossles, MP4, MP3, WAV, AA & AIFF.
If you are talking about video format, then MPEG-4/ audio AAC, 230 400 pixels with a maximal resolution of 640 in width is what it's all about.
