Plugged in, slept in and has been using it ever since. There are folk that fret a lot. I don't know how they can be placated.

Nothing magic about charging the battery in this modern day and age. The days of NiCad batteries and their mysteries are long behind with modern cell phones and newer battery technology.

The new batteries are great. Use the original Apple iPhone charger. It sounds like there is some type of overshoot protection when the battery reaches 100%.
