...but HP is going to be releasing a REALLY nice touchscreen PC with a 19" LCD and a fairly nice computer underneath the hood alongside Vista at the end of January. It's pretty tough to explain how nice it looks, but I even want one more than a touchscreen iMac - and I'm an Apple junkie.
Go here, and there's a specific link to the video talking about it: http://zdpub.vo.llnwd.net/o2/ziffdavisplayer/flvplayer.html?movie=episode127
Looking at the way iPhone works I kept thinking, wouldnt it be incredible if I could touch my desktop screen and move things about just like in iPhone. I have been trying to teach my father how to use iPhoto and he has a bit of a challenge understanding how the pointer on the mouse works, what hes pointing at , how to click and drag etc. If he could simply touch the screen there would be no learning curve! Imagine cropping a photo by dragging a square with your finger then tapping for example.
Can imagine this on existing hardware but I could see a next gen iMac with a touch screen built in.
