Question

Iphone to Samsung tv to play Netflix

The iphone has lost the connection to cast to Chromecast 2118. Instead only has connect to device. A second Iphone is perfectly ok and can connect. How to get back the ability to connect to Chromecast?

Did you factory reset the phone?

I'm not there to check all settings so maybe a start from scratch is best.

Thanks. As a last resort will have to do this but strange that we are working and then the next time we are not. Hoping for someone to have experienced the same problem and know of a the fix.

I read it as it never worked again. I have used resets and forgetting the network to set it up again.

There's also a matter of WiFi range. Try half the distance.
