I'm going with no.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMessage since it's a push notification and unlike email with a sync/pop3/smtp/imap or where such could be synced, the answer is no.

But you could try it. Are you conversant on SMS?

When you hit a new word, try dictionary.

In this context it means "having knowledge or experience" with SMS. SMS is logged at the carrier and iMessage as you can read from the link is an Apple proprietary push system. Since it is only pushed to the one device the answer is no.

You can prove me wrong with ease. But I didn't see it here.

OK, now let's say you want to record such dialogue. I see prior discussions on that and Apple seems to only respond to legal avenues if you want a transcript of iMessages.

No i really dont have any experience. I just share a family computer with my family. i want to sync my iphone to computer for various reasons. My family is out all day and i am usually the first one home. i am just asking this cause if my computer is off or in standby mode at home and i talk with people throughout the day, but delete the messages my question is will my sister open the computer and see my whole history throughout the day?

I know they can get messages while on the computer but thats not my concern, its just if it will show up after deleted.

Then why not test it?

Also, why not password your account or just keep folk off your computer?

As Bob said,

have the owner of the computer, if it is not you, create an account for each of the users.

None of the users can see the stuff of the other users then and you would have no worries that your sister will see your texts.
