iPhone cutting off after firing up new iMac

Mar 15, 2010 2:38PM PDT

I just purchased a new 27" imac quad-core i7 that has the wireless "Magic mouse" but regular usb keyboard. As soon as I fired the new iMac up, I received a call on my 3G iPhone and it kept disconnecting every time I re-established the call (even tried calling a different person but it still happened.) I thought maybe there was an issue with the wireless mouse bluetooth interfering with my iPhone so I turned it off but the same problem occurred... I even went through the new iMac and disabled the ethernet and my mail.me settings but still having the problem. Any suggestions?

I turned off the iMac and the iPhone last night. Today I used the iPhone during the day from work without any issues so I tried using the iPhone tonight when I got home (with the iMac still turned off) and there didn't appear to be any issues. Tomorrow night, I'll power on the iMac and try using the phone to see what happens... Hopefully after disabling the mobil.me and airport on the iMac (last night) coupled with the restart, it will take care of the issue.
