iPhone connection to Samsung Series 4 to stream video

Aug 5, 2011 10:16AM PDT

I was trying to stream Internet video through my iPhone connected to my Samsung Series 4 LCD TV but every time I hook the iPhone to the TV by the USB port the TV just shows downloaded photos left on my iPhone. Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

To get video you'll have to use some video connections. USB is just a data connection and there is no app to do what you asked over USB.

Most series 4's can't play video files from USB memory sticks so that may be another reason for just pictures to show.

Its because iPhone makes itself to detect it as a Digital Camera when you connect through USB. You can stream internet video through USB. Alternatively you can install some DLNA app in iphone and stream it over WIfi if your tv is connected to your router
