Question

iPhone and iTunes problem

Aug 21, 2015 5:23PM PDT

Hi
I have a problem with my iPhone/iTunes
A few weeks ago after a complete restore my Toshiba laptop, today for the first time I tried to add more music to my IPhone from my laptop.
When I conned the iPhone to the laptop everything was ok and show up the songs I wanted to copy but after I received a message saying:
ITunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone go to the iPhone and restore the iPhone to factory setting.
Everything was working before the restore.
3 days ago I download the new ITunes on my laptop and cannot use it
Any other way to go around this problem without having to do a factory reset?
Thank you
GL

Answer
Unless you have an iCloud backup to try, no

FWIW, I have stopped using iTunes to manage my media since it has become too problematic. Third party options have proved sufficient but no perfect, in combination with using iCloud for regular backups of the device. YMMV.
