Question

Iphone 4S - I removed a Gig of pics but HDD info stayed same

Apr 9, 2015 11:03PM PDT

I connected the phone to a laptop using the cable and the usual pop-up appeared so I selected 'Browse content' and proceeded to transfer pics to the Laptop.
Laptop is Win 7. Itunes installed.
Two explorer windows opened side-by-side. One is the phone's content the other My Laptop.
I selected all the pics, right-clicked and dropped them
into the laptop. >> I selected ...Move'.
The transfer went beautifully but when i checked the phone's hdd capacity it hadn't budged a bit.
??
what could explain this..

Maybe 'move' is interpreted as 'copy'?
Once you're sure your pics are safe on your laptop AND on your backup, you can delete them from your phone.

That's a good explanation but it sin't the case. As they transferred they disappeared from the source at the same time.
Must be just a bug..
