Iphone 2g help please!

hey guys!
i was wondering if you could help me with a little problem that i have gotten myself into.
I updaten my imported and jailbroken IPHONE 2g from USA on itunes to FW 4,1.
After the update was done it said almost exactly like this:

The SIM card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported.
Only compatible SIM cards from a supported Carrier may be used to activate your iphone.

So now im stuck in the front screen where it tells me to connect to itunes on my mobile.
Im lost ! and have been searching for help a long time now.
PLEASE help me!
