iPad Wifi Fixes, for anyone having problems

Apr 6, 2010 3:53AM PDT

Dear Buzz Gang and Crew,
I have not bought my iPads as of yet. I am waiting for the 3G versions. I have been watching the blogs regarding the issues related to the WiFi issues and some possible fixes have been posted around the net. Here are some suggestions and links:

1. Update Your Router's Firmware

2. Change The Router's Location - (This one does not make much sense to me but maybe it will work for others.)

3. Set Your Router To Operate On One 802.11 Standard

4. Change Your Router's Security Encryption

5. Rename Your Networks

Not the point

I know I can make it work properly at home... That is not the point. I want it to work reliably while traveling, where I do not control the network! Maybe next gen will have better antenna design and or placement.

You mean it doesn't "just work"???
