Question

iPad Air Case for iPad Air 2?Is it ok ?

Oct 20, 2014 5:28PM PDT

It is very exciting that my pre-ordered iPad Air 2 is due to arrive in the next week or so probably. Compared with my old iPad Air, I expect to experience its more prominent performance. I am now aiming to search a suitable protection for it.

I tried to search on different platforms and channels but failed to find a specific one with satisfaction. Also there seems to be lack of protections designed for iPad Air 2. I am not so much in those cases with hard materials and flashing colors.

On your side, do you suggest that the Ipad Air protections will match with iPad Air 2 well despite the fact it's 1.4 mm thinner ?

I really like this one
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Inateck%C2%AE-2013-2014-Protection-Portable-Dimension/dp/B00MTBZVCU

as it feels soft definitely not scratching the ipad and warmer used in cold days.

Could it be also applied to 2 ?

By the way, what do you think about the quality of the Apple Smart Case? I like it, but it is expensive!

I thought as you.. But there are some different voices...

Although I did attach much importance to the thickness, I thought it is ok because the Air 2 is just thinner but not thicker. And the sleeve I favor has a buckle to protect it from slipping out.

But there should be another thing to consider. Have you once noted the width of ipad 2 ? I will reconsider then if it is narrower than my old iPad because of the asymmetric designed buckle.I pray there will be no problem and of course I will also check the specifications on Apple official site myself.

For the model you recommended, it's not the style I favor much in. I prefer some more soft material. By the way, would it be a little bulky with a protection like a box ? After all, the price is not so cheap almost the same high with Apple smart case.

Perhaps I should choose it as it may also have an equivalent high performance as Apple.Happy

I vote for otterbox

I'd go for Otterbox even though it's bulky but it's not that big deal to me.
