Question

IPad Air 2 or Surface 3 (not the pro)

Aug 4, 2015 3:24PM PDT

Hello, I am a college student and I was thinking of getting a tablet for my school. My daily use is as follow: browsing the web, social media, taking notes on office (word, powerpoint, etc.), watching movies and using some apps (I usually don't download a lot of apps or games on my phone, so I think it will be the same case with the tablet)
So many people suggested those 2, but I am confused which one is better for me and I cannot find good reviews because most reviews on surface 3 was with windows 8, but I think things changed now with windows 10. The price will also come about the same if I buy keyboards and stylus for the tablet. So which one should I buy? thanks in advance

Maybe as a note taker and in a pinch with a keyboard to write a doc but the Surface that ran Windows RT 8 was a PITR. I would not suggest either unit given your story.

Let's hear more about the Surface. Is it RT? You do know Microsoft got the message that it wasn't what most wanted and I would not count on support.

I think the surface 3 now runs full windows, so it will not be RT.
